It’s the first week of January and many of us have the goal of making this the BEST year ever!  This week we’ve compiled a list of resources and tools to help you set out in the right direction… Create a Vision Board, Write your Unlimited Life Plan, Pave Your Life Roadmap and The Consciousness Cleanse. Final post in the series this week is a list of detoxes/cleanse for the body, which ultimately also helps the mind. A great way to start out any 2011 ‘get fit’ goals!

14 Day Easy Detox

I picked up Carole Vorderman’s 14 Day Easy Detox book several years ago in London. Carole is a British media personality who has written several books on Detox diets with the partnership of nutrionist Anita Bean. I was looking for a natural detox that didn’t involve any crazy pills or supplements… just a simple way to cleanse the body naturally with healthy foods. The main focus of this detox is nutrient packed fresh food. I lost seven pounds the first time I did it, felt great and had more energy! I’ve incorporated the easy principles and recipes into my daily life.

Clean

Dr. Alejandro Junger’s Clean program is one actress Gwyneth Paltrow swears by for mental clarity and dropping a few pounds. This week in her Goop newsletter she includes an overview of The Clean 21-Day Cleanse (involves purchasing products/supplements) as well as some bonus materials created especially for Goop… Clean 21-Day Elimination Diet (no products needed, simply use the principles and recipes) and Clean Mini 3-Day Cleanse.

Whole Living Action Plan

Whole Living magazine and website has this 21 or 28 day mind and body detox to change your life. It’s a quite comprehensive and intensive action plan incorporating food, lifestyle and exercise challenges. The website takes you through each week/day and delivers you an email each morning with the day’s challenge.

Personally I’m going back to my favorite 14 Day Easy Detox and incorporating some of the yummy recipes from the Clean 21-day Elimination Diet. Cheers to a good cleanse! :)
